Santa Barbara Old Mission

10th CA mission to be started by the Spanish Franciscans -1790's
(Santa Barbara) Hi 84 Lo 42   
Since I haven't written here lately, I have decided to post some travel type pictures of our local Mission.  I took the tour today.
Fray Junipero Serra

Sacred Garden - originally used as a work area for the Native American peoples to learn building trades.

In the floor in front of the gate are plaques that mark the crypt room where early missionaries and laymen are buried beneath the church.
