Had a bit of a rainstorm in the morning but needed to move on.

Stopped often at the many "overlook" spots.

So green and lush.

From these 4 photos you can understand how much rain we were getting.

Here is another visitor center.

Had lunch on Mt. Mitchell highest peak in the Appalachian Mountains and highest peak in the eastern U.S.  Here is my table view left and ahead.

Looking out the back you can see for miles and 180* view.
